The Cortland Holland Meadows is proud to celebrate the First Annual Validation Week, August 17–23, alongside Priority Life Care communities across the country.

Centered around “Meet Me Where I Am,” Validation Week reminds caregivers and families that connection begins by listening, understanding, and validating each person’s feelings and experiences.

Throughout the week, The Cortland Holland will host activities that honor residents’ life stories and help families learn about Validation.

As part of Priority Life Care’s Along the Journey dementia care philosophy, Validation supports meaningful relationships and moments of trust, comfort, and connection.
